How can APS help select the best Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) for your project?

APS works closely with manufacturers, design and specification engineers, and end-users to fine tune Zythane®, Viprene® and Maxelast® products to fit new application requirements. When selecting Zythane®, Viprene® and Maxelast® you receive more than proven consistent products - you also receive technical support and responsive customer service.

Why Zythane®
Zythane® thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers (TPU) exhibit many desirable properties including extreme abrasion resistance and toughness, excellent adhesion and transparency, flexibility over a wide temperature range (-40° F to + 200° F) and resistance to degradation from water, oils, greases, fungus and other chemicals.

Why Viprene®
Viprene® thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) exhibit many properties similar to rubber such as flexibility over a wide temperature range (-40° F to + 200° F) and resistance to degradation from water, oils and greases.  It can also be processed using conventional injection molding and extrusion equipment.

Why Maxelast®?
Maxelast® combines the great properties of rubber (elasticity, cold weather resistance and soft touch) with the easy processibility of plastics. TPE products can be designed and fabricated faster, easier and more economically. TPE is finding more applications and enabling better and more elegant designs.

Alliance Polymers & Services, LLC (APS) in Romulus, MI, is a full service warehousing, distribution, and technical service organization dedicated to helping TPE, TPU, TPV and other elastomer marketers and processors with all their product and technical support needs.  APS  currently markets and supports Polymax Maxelast® TPEs, Zythane® TPUs, and Viprene® TPVs.

APS offers elastomer materials in quantities large and small (from 600kg Gaylord to 25kg bags).   APS is owned and operated by two of the industry’s leading marketing and technical support executives, Roger J. Huarng and Stephane Morin, formerly with BASF Corporation. Call today to find the elastomer that best suits your application.
