ROMULUS, MI (June 28, 2013) – TPE (thermoplastic elastomer)
supplier APS (Alliance Polymers and Services, LLC) not only announces the
expansion of their latest grade of Maxelast® TPEs
formulated expressly for profile extrusion, but also offers several new end-use
applications.
New Maxelast D Series of TPEs are
now available in a wide range of hardness, from 30 Shore A to 36 Shore D. They can be profile extruded for end caps for
piping as well as industrial and commercial window profile, architectural
gaskets, electrical components, hoses, numerous outdoor products (including end
caps for poles) and wire coatings, among others.
Company officials note that the
new formulations, supplied in natural pellets, are especially well-suited for
large or small, and simple or complex profile extrusion designs.
Benefits of the expanded line of
Maxelast D Series TPEs include:
- Closely resembles vulcanized rubber with good, energy-absorbing performance
- Available in various quantities, from 55 lb. bags to truckloads
