Huntsman Polyurethanes’ AVALON® polyester-based
thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPUs) have been added to APS Elastomers portfolio
for use in a variety of applications. Durable, dependable and extremely
versatile, AVALON TPUs improve the production and performance of industrial
parts, ski goggles, caster wheels, cables, shoes parts, conveyor belts and
seals. Also available in transparent grades, the benefits of AVALON TPUs are
numerous: excellent surface definition, matt or glossy effects, good
colorability, outstanding abrasion, superior flex performance, rubber-like look
and feel, as well as reliable bonding to certain engineering grades of
thermoplastics.
