Alliance Polymers & Services Adds 6,000 Sq. Feet
ROMULUS,
MI (October 15, 2012) - Now in its 4th year, the
continent’s only soft elastomers distributor, manufacturer and technical
support resource, Alliance Polymers and Services, LLC (APS) announces the
addition of 6,000 more square footage at its headquarters facility near
Detroit. The firm now operates out of a
modern 18,000 square foot facility located only a few miles from Detroit’s
international airport.
“Growing sales from a larger base of
TPE and TPU suppliers, the addition of full production line, a product testing
lab and more storage/inventory needed required us to
obtain more space,” note APS principals Roger Huarng and Stephane Morin. As a result, company sources continue, the
firm is engaged in an aggressive hiring mode for internal sales personnel and
independent reps throughout the country.
With this expansion, the firm plans to
store as much as 40% more kinds and volume of various thermoplastic elastomers,
among the styrenic-based TPEs, TPVs and Elastollan® TPUs (polyester and
polyether thermoplastic polyurethanes).
