APS: your single source for TPE material and expertise

Fusing the practical qualities of plastic with rubber, thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) have inspired inventors and engineers to push design boundaries. TPEs meet the design and production challenges of a fast-changing world and elevate the performance of an assortment of products including, but not limited to; wire, cables, seals, tubes, hoses, films, shoes, and conveyor belts.

Alliance Polymers & Services (APS) is committed to continuous innovation in all areas of the elastomer business by providing high levels of service and support. Our mission is to insure the right polymer is used, develop new applications and better processing techniques, and help OEMs and processors market their end products successfully and efficiently.

APS  currently markets and supports Maxelast® TPEs, Viprene® TPVs, Huntsman Polyurethanes’ IROGRAN® and AVALON® TPUs, Zythane® TPUs, TPE alloys, as well as our compounding series of custom and soft elastomer formulations.

Make APS your single source for TPE material and expertise.

Viprene® TPVs: High Performance, Lower Costs for Weather Seals

Alliance Polymers & Services (APS) carries a wide range of polyester and polyether-based elastomers. Our extensive portfolio includes Maxelast® TPEs, Viprene® TPVs, Huntsman Polyurethanes' IROGRAN® and AVALON® TPUs, Zythane® TPUs, TPE alloys, as well as APS's compounding series of custom and standard soft elastomer formulations.

Viprene® TPV for injection molding reduces processing cost by attaining lower viscosity allowing shorter fill time, longer flow paths, and lower injection pressure. Our Viprene® TPVs are stable and can be processed in a wide temperature range without showing signs of degradation.

Processing at elevated temperatures accelerates and improves bonding to other TPVs in applications such as corner moldings for weather seals

Alliance Polymers & Services, LLC (APS) Adds Huntsman Polyurethanes’ IROGRAN® and AVALON® to their Elastomer Distribution Portfolio

Romulus, MI (October 29, 2013)  Alliance Polymers & Services, LLC (APS) is the newest North American Distributor of Huntsman Polyurethanes’ IROGRAN® and AVALON® thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU).

Huntsman Polyurethanes is a global leader in polyurethanes, serving customers in more than 90 countries with TPU manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Germany, and China.  IROGRAN® and AVALON® TPUs are available in many grades designed from simple applications to complex engineering products.

APS is a privately owned thermoplastic elastomer distributor with warehouses and independent sales agents throughout North America. Under the direction of two of the plastic industry’s leading marketing and technical support executives, Roger Huarng and Stephane Morin, whom have earned a long-standing reputation for providing guidance on thermoplastic elastomer selections, the use of proper additives, and processing insights.

“We are honored Huntsman recognized our technical and commercial expertise in TPUs and chose us to represent them in the United States and Canada”, says Roger Huarng.

APS offers thermoplastic elastomer raw materials (TPE) such as styrenic-based thermoplastic elastomers (TPE-S), thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPV), thermoplastic polyester elastomers (COPE) and fluoropolymers (PVDF). “Our ability to source materials globally insures we provide quality elastomers at the most competitive pricing”, says Stephane Morin.

APS also manufactures and markets specialty compounds designed to enhance certain properties of the TPEs it sells.
